Opened this 2019 Stringtown Willamette Valley Pinot Noir from Eugene, Oregon.

On the nose upon opening was muted, so I let it set and finally took just over an hour to open up. I was getting cherry, strawberry, spice, rose petal, a medicinal note, vanilla and earth.

On the palate there was cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cola, spice, minerality and dusty earth.

This wine is light to medium bodied medium acidity and medium fine tannins which leaves you with medium to medium + red fruit earthy finish. Not what I expect from the Willamette Valley in a pinot noir. Have a wonderful week ahead and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷
