Suprisingly decent- my first indian wine. Very "new world" with it's forward fruit. Though dry, the fruitiness lends a veneer of sweetness that complements the spices nicely. The classic shiraz characteristics come out on the finish. Rating is based on this indian wine paired with indian food. It would be rated lower if in direct comparison with some others.

A red blend from Nashik, India's wine region outside Mumbai. Produced by a prodigal Silicon Valley engineer, it is fruity and full of southern sunshine. Best consumed with dhal, palak paneer and roti fresh from the tandoor and should be followed with crazy Bollywood moves to punjabi beats. Jai ho!
