Great 5 cent wine at BevMo. Another good house wine.

Solid Malbec. A lot of earthy flavors in this one - you can taste the terroir.

Was not impresses by this one at all. Thought it would taste better the next day but that didn't happen. Seems like the alcohol lingers in the back of my throat for a few minutes. Got this at Bevmo on the 5 cent sale. Maybe it's just this bottle? Hope so!

Smooth. Not sweet at all which is perfect for me. Would have been great with a meal but it was nice to just sip.

This is the 2013 version. At first I tasted a hint of Tobacco, and blackberries, as the wine breathed and sat on my palate it had a very strong flavor of grapefruit, which I am not too fond of, but I will still drink this wine. Maybe it would be a bit better if it was a little older. It tastes light on alcohol for a Malbec, but at 13.9% it is certainly not light at all. This wine seems as if it would go well with seafood because of the citrusy notes.
