Nice aromatic, slightly evolved nose with ripe damson plum, a bit of kirsch and a touch of sundried herbs. Plus some roasted pepper and a hint of leather. On the palate quite suave, with nicely evolved but still gripping tannins. Juicy acidity and great balance. This is probably peaking and a great pleasure right now.

A mostly ruby red, though still had a touch of purple in color. Quite rustic, with nice acid and tannin. A mix of red and black fruit, pairing very nicely with beef.
