Wonderfully layered red fruit nose, sweet with a violet floral touch, there is also a crystalline minerality and fresh cherry bakewell tart. In the mouth this has silky tannins and follows on from the nose with the fruit component becoming richer and darker, lingering on the length. Superb.94pts

This is starting to show a bit of age. Fruit is a bit muted. Tannins seem slightly more rustic. Still, very good. Cassis. Excellent with 7x Wagyu Prime Boneless Ribeye Steaks!

Gorgeous wine. 40% Cab Franc, 22% Cab Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot. Beautifully balanced. Rich, Cassis, Plum compote, plush with a bit of Tuscan angularity. Long finish. Will hold for several more years.
