Rich and decadent merlot yet has enough secondaries that show through and balance to keep this from being a purely hedonistic experience. Great density and suppleness. Tannins are almost rustic, coupled with the richness to reach a sort of sophistication.

Tasted at the Domaine in 2014. And bought on release.
Opened 24 hrs prior…. This is still very compact and tannic, but starting to show its charm and beauty. Wait a few more years.
