Oreno Toscana Super Tuscan Blend

Nose full of charcoal and cassis led a rich, unctuous arcade of sour black cherry, cocoa and a long finish tinged with burnt dark chocolate. This has a few years to go, needed an hour decant to smooth out.

This is in a good place but still needs a good airing. Considering the degree of new oak, this has evolved into a balanced wine with good acidity, elegant mouthfeel and dark blue fruit. 50% Sangiovese and 25% each cab and merlot.

Kirsch, cherry, chocolate... Pure velvet almost like a youn Bordeaux meets California with some Italy tossed in there. Great wine

Sette ponti oreno 2007.... Like bordeaux with Sangiovese. Rich but mineral driven. Simply fantastic juice. Should age really well also. In fact this needs at least 5 more years to become the wine it is capable of being

Dark fruit. Medium tannin. Still standing strong in 2019. Very good juice.

Got better with more air. Will decant next bottle.

Having this on Akito's 6th birthday. Even after 8 years, this showed no sign of aging. Took a bit to open up. Once it did, very beautiful with a nice berries, wood and soil
