What should be initially noted is the beautiful color of this wine - like drinking a garnet out of a glass! At first whiff, tight on the nose with fresh, red cherries. Opens and softens to pomegranate, crushed lily, and ground white pepper. Very soft on the palate, juicy with ripen, fresh cherries, cranberries, and blood orange, with soft, sweet spice of cardamon and anise on the back end, fading way to a medium finish of sandalwood and anise. Very soft and not much in the way of tannins, but still a great accompaniment to a calzone!

One of the best of "the weird & wonderful" wines of Oregon. From a unique coastal vineyard imaginatively named after the pass to Dracula's castle, this is still a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. Just wait for this sucker to age & show deft minerality as the fruit gains sauvage & more laser focus. But if you must drink it now, baby killing is built for festive feasts, for sure!

Champagne lovers need to try this as it gives a great example of what flavors Meunier brings to the party.

I dig. Light, delicate. Dusty fruit. Caveat: time and place and particular taste preference type of wine.

A rare and special category in wine, a red that drinks like white; lean, clean, low alcohol, mineral, washed down mussels with ease

New to the Winelandia online shop... High toned fresh red fruit, flowers, earth, and spice. Feminine and elegant, great for lovers of Pinot noir and trousseau. Only 11% abv! Https://winelandia.com/shop

The problem (benefit?) of an insanely delicious 11% alc wine is that is way too easy to crush an entire bottle by one's self.

A delightfully light, varietal Meunier as a dry red of Willamette Valley at low ABV...with a spectacular dinner at Corner Table Minneapolis...Mmm...
