Butter, lemon, pears. Unlike some others in this style, butter/vanilla is subtle/understated. Paired with chicken & penne, grilld veg, calamata olives. Wine works well with chicken/pasta. Girlfriend ate it but bitched the whole time, and didnt like the wine. Need to uncork a new one.

Aug 25th, 2017Pears, cooked apples, honeysuckle, and vanilla, with a little cut grass and even a little petrol that didn't last after opening. Soft acidity and maybe a little salty minerality. It was very nice with roasted salmon and stuffed portobello mushrooms.
