Lovely icy-clear color with just the slightest golden hue. Smells like fine lotion, gun smokes and pears. Also rainwater and wet rocks. Lots of aroma. Vibrant. Flavor is very tart, pretty dry. Little juicy apple around the edges to cut through the citrusy limeness. Drinks nice very cold. Fills the mouth with crispness and fresh lovely flavor. Little bit of burnt match stick buried in there. A classic NZ and the antithesis of CA Chard. It in line with all those great Marlborough S.B.’s. Nice stuff.
