Another great Classic Wine Happy Hour in the books! Always a treat to have a designated day each month where guys can pull out some unique bottles!

My first time having this, and
@Benjamin Keator says this is probably his favorite Cali SB. So unique. The nose smelled like pineapple and mango fruit juice. Very balanced acidity. Tart and citrus finish. I'm really developing a love for unique SBs, and this one fit the bill.

This was quite easily the most interesting Sauv Blanc I've had. The aromatics of this wine were pretty intriguing. Lemon zest and pine dominated the nose. The wine on the palate was at first all lemon rind, some passionfruit, and almost on the sweeter side. As it warmed up and caught some more oxygen, it went more towards a citrus-dominated presentation. A SB like this is one that you could EASILY drink 3-4 bottles of while at the pool or the beach and just relaxing, watching the world go by, and not giving 2 craps about anything. This wine finished with a tart and cheek pucker that was just enough to make you want another sip. I will certainly say that this one was dangerously easy to drink, and a wine that I probably need no business knowing about because I'm afraid to know how many cases of this I could decimate. Although I loved the 04 Marcassin Chard, this wine was easily my second favorite white.

Gentleman's 8.5 because I think this bottle was bad. Citrus is there but oxidized in a poor way.
