What an elegant evening! Delightful wine to compliment an excellent meal. Smokey nose, not too fruity. Jennifer would order this again in a heartbeat. Jennifer said the nose is heavier than she's used to.

Threw this in the decanter earlier as it showed some serious reduction on the nose. It opened up beautifully showing a great tension between rich fruit & crisp minerality. Texturally, this is marvelous & trying to describe that complexity is like catching fireflies. Starting 2017 the right way, Happy New Year to everyone one more time!
