The 2015 Irancy Veaupessiot, aged entirely in demi-muids, has a very pure and detailed bouquet of black cherries, raspberry, hints of rose petal and fine mineralité, equal to a premier cru Côte d’Or Rouge. The medium-bodied palate offers supple tannin, perfectly pitched acidity and a pure, quite sensual finish that fans out with red cherries, raspberry and saline notes. Wonderful.
