There are few Chardonnays that make me smile. This is one of them. 2013 Thralls Antonio Mountain (Sonoma Coast). Just enough oak to give off an aroma of Creme brûlée. Beautiful acidity with Apple & peach notes. A mere 90 cases was crafted. Delightful bits of sediment (I love sediment)

2013 Thralls Chardonnay Antonio Mountain

Consisting of 100% Old Clone Wente from Antonio Mountain Vineyard, located in the cool Petaluma Gap just 4 miles from Tomales Bay at the southern edge of the Sonoma Coast AVA, clusters were hand sorted, gently pressed and fermented in 50% neutral French oak and 50% stainless steel tank. It finished 100% malolactic fermentation and was aged 8 months before bottling in September 2014.
