Frustrated. I just can't appreciate these big fuckin napa cabs. concentrated and persistent flavors of blackberry with very polished tannins, with a hint of cedar on the finish. Uncomplicated. Just dry enough and balanced with sufficient acid that I can be compelled to drink another glass. Despite decanting the bottle, the bottle was not as wooded and balanced as I my first tasting. A splendid wine, in my mind, for novice wine drinkers. I cannot comprehend how some drink wines of richer extraction/concentration than this; really unsettles me.
