Medium Ruby in colour although a transparency to the colour. A varnishy red fruited nose - a very aromatic and attractive perfume. Earlier in its life the whole bunch influence poked out a little too much but generally a great balance with the pristine cool climate Coal River Valley fruit. See previous 2 notes here on Delectable. My last 2014 but I do have a 2013 which I will have next year when 10 years old.

The first of 2 Tasmanian Pinots. Pale crimson in colour. Red fruits and stalky notes- too much whole bunch? But still a lovely aromatic perfume featuring rose petals on the nose. A light to medium weight palate which works. The typical Burgundian trait of a fuller flavoured palate than the colour would indicate.

Medium Ruby. Stalky also fragrant perfume - whole bunch in evidence in the ferment. On the silky palate sweetish red fruits , mineral, fruit and earth there with the fruit predominant at the moment. A very good Tasmanian Pinot Noir.

Gorgeous perfume - I could smell this for hours. Medium weight on the palate with those trade mark silky tannins. Noticeable whole bunch influence. Coal River in Tasmania is hot right now for the production of top class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Interestingly the grapes are taken in refrigerated containers to the Adelaide Hills for vinification at Shaw and Smith.

Yes ! to Pinot Noir with this fresh, understated attractivity. The Chardonnay 2016 was breathtaking. Masterful & off the. CHarts.

3rd in a great series of vintages from this ground breaking Pinot Noir vineyard. Perfumed Asian Spices with a stemmy stinging nettle element. Green Thai herbs with notes of coriander and ginger. Marvellous complexity at such a young age. Medium to light weight palate. Just a lovely Pinot Noir.

Beautiful wine, like 1er Cru Pommard with more herbs and easier acudity. Medium body, fine med plus acidity and a great match with food. Persistent long finish. Just terrific
