Poggio al Tufo Rompicollo Toscana Sangiovese Cabernet Sauvignon

Didn’t expect to not like this cab. It’s kinda dull and not very smooth. It’s just ok.

Juicy and drinkable.

Little too dry.

Nice smooth easy drinking. Just enough acidity to balance the jammy fruit.

Interesting nose, not much of a finish. Needs food.

Some soft red fruit with light tannins though the finish had a slightly unpleasant finish to me.

Not a fan - almost peppery to a tart taste. Not what I was expecting. Tried a glass and tapped out on the rest of the bottle, which isn’t something I do very often.

Just the right amount of Sangiovese to make the blend memorable.

Really easy to drink and fruity with just enough tannins to give it structure.
