Nose of fruity plums with alcoholic spice, Taste of bright acidity, caramel and vanilla sweetness, and chewy. Young, uneven, not polished, but full of flavors combined with powerful tannins. Considering it is less than $6, I do enjoy it a lot.

Oct 17th, 2016Delicious and fun for the price ($5 at TJs). Let it open up via a decanter--that's the key to mellowing out its overwhelming/uneven tannins. Sweet, like the yellow/inside fruit of a plum, with black pepper. Even riper plum over time! A good daily drinking wine for the price.
