Slightly disappointed. Admittedly, I bought this wine because of the label. This wine is slightly spicy and has a bite. I'm not a fan of merlot, so maybe that is why I am not enjoying this red blend.

Thick legs, hues of purple and a deep red color. Aroma is underriped cherry preserves and a wet, woody forest. Taste starts with a mild sweet tone and finishes acidic in the back of the mouth. The flavor is spicy, maybe a little black peppery, and hints of prune. This wine finishes medium to medium long and would be a great pairing with beef medallions and a plum balsamic reduction, or roasted asparagus and zuchinni with cheese assortment. Would only buy again if on sale or for a mythic party!
