Label is all bling - I think this is the one that's been getting a lot of press in Australia lately by being Aldi's giant killer. It's got a lot going for it; stylistically this doesn't look Victorian to me. I'd have said a lover of South Australian Shiraz would love it and be astonished at the bang for buck. Oak works well and there's peppery, clovey spice and chocolate and lots of rich, ripe fruit. A touch of heat from its 14.5% alcohol emerges on the finish, but overall it's nicely put together and presses all the right buttons.

Bought it based on Sydney International Wine Show 2014 awards and subsequent newspaper articles on cheap Aldi wines.
At $13, pretty good value. Bit light but enjoyed it.
