2008 pretty good Pinot 2008 does that sort middle palette explosion not just muted fruit some earth notes then just sort hangs there like sparkling glow worms a very kiwi experience

Starts out rather subdued, dainty even with just the faintest of finishes. Opens up after a while to a strong cranberry pomegranate acid red fruit. Does not evidence the minerality I usually associate with the region but instead pushes the French oak forward. A rather light style.
