Bien Nacido Vineyard Chardonnay

Really pure fruit in a understated way. My first from Tyler, won't be my last.

Apples, citrus, minerality, rounded, and light oak. The acid is slightly assertive and makes very food friendly. Reminds me of the Central Coast. Delicious.

Some great creamy-ness going on here. Nice wood tones topped by honey and vanilla. Still needs way more time.

14.2% abv.

Uhm... Wow! Especially with squid, white beans, and aioli.

Immaculate, restrained, lovely effort here. The minerality is unmistakably present, but in near perfect balance with the chard fruit. Almost austere but with more personality. Drinking in a good place now, will be ever worldly in 10+ years thanks to well honed acidity and overall backbone.
