Dierberg Vineyard Block Five Pinot Noir

Block Five is showing its stuff. Needs a few years aging to really blossom though.

Love the diversity of Pinot Noirs coming out of Santa Barbara. First discovered this one at @IPOB In Pursuit of Balance.

Precocious talent.

Showing well. Loved it

Sweet, not acidic or tannic. Feels like it's missing something

Post Army Ten Miler wine. Deep pure burgundy. Cherry, deep red fruit, and dusty wood. Big mouthful of red fruit up front, cola and earth. Lingering finish. Actually like the blend (cheaper) bottling better. A bit more austere than this one. But quality Cali pinot.
