Needs a couple hours to open up. Then bursts from the glass with beautiful fruit from the pinot noir. Depth and creaminess from 4 yrs on the lees. Happy birthday ‘merica.

Jul 5th, 2018Balance between PN red fruited richness, upfront weight, and acidic structure. Showing really well at about 1.5 years post-disgorgement. It’s picked up more character on the nose and shed a little fat, drinking harmoniously right now but would love@to revisit down the road. Red currant, rhubarb pie, apple blossoms, rocks and hint of spice. 100 PN 11/30/2016 Disgorgement

May 18th, 2018I've heard rumors of bottle variation in this vintage, but none here. This is tremendous. Subtle yet generous in fruit. Yeasty but with great cut. Wonderful pinot complexity on top of a green fruit and saline core.

Sep 11th, 2017Disgorged 13 days ago. Beautiful berry fruit, but you have to dig deep past the yeasty notes. Going to be ridiculously good. 100% Pinot Noir, Charles Heitz Vineyard, Sonoma Coast, rippin acid, red fruit and yeast
