The second edition of Jardin d'Ulysse which is aged 60 months on the lees has turned out brilliantly, a taut, tensile and racy rendition, showing incredible purity and elegance in its fruit expression. It’s simultaneously silky and rich, with floral, spice and citrus inflicted aromatics and a chalky mineral core. The palate is chiseled, full bodied, satiny and ultra concentrated and with a structure built to age. This definitely seems to be the bottling to tuck away, but already stunning.
