This wine of the Pecorino grape displays a light floral note on the nose, but the show is its minerality. Citrus aromas even take a back seat to the smell of wet driveway. On the palate, lemon, lime and almonds play a bigger role amidst a ripping acidity. Stick a bottle aside for when warm-weather foods take over.

Umani Ronchi ‘Vellodoro’ Pecorino Terre di Chieti 2018: Medium-bodied. Crisp acidity. Fragrant floral nose with ripe fruit flavors of peach, pear, apple & lemon. Nice minerality and a long dry finish. All in all, a great, refreshing wine selection to complement this amazing first meal in Bellaria. Had to return to one of my favorite restaurants! Great day to all! Cheers 🍷

Pretty decent. Great summer wine. Acidity and freshness of a sauv blanc but a bit easier drinking with less floral but more minerality. At 16 cdn pretty decent value. Will grab a few more for summertime

Not super complex but quite crushable. Quince, greenish apple, ripe citrus, something straddling minerality and salinity. Delicious and only $14 at WF. Finding Pecorino here has given me new found hope for wine life in the MCO. Also just found one at Dgrs and Swry. After Chenin, I may start to argue Pecorino being the most unappreciated great grape in the US. 12.5% 2018 IN 7/20.
