At Moore Brothers tasting of Piemonte with Fung and Mary 1/25/25. Classically styled with balance and grippy texture and tannins. Will age nicely. — a month ago
Mineral lean. Almost thin. But delicious concrete and flint. Last year for this vintage I think — 2 months ago
Enjoyed this wine. Had the store brand pecorino from Cantoro’s in Michigan and was thrilled to see this one to try again. Some melon and honeydew. With some pear and honeysuckle. Really different taste profile. Lightly acidic and floral all at the same time. Plan to get more of this one! — 5 months ago
Lemon and nectar, smooth, easy to drink, paired well with a fresh salad and garlic chicken. — 3 months ago

Opened and decanted two hours prior to service; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 1997 “Vigneto Brich Ronchi” pours a deep, hazy garnet color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears and some signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated black and red fruits: Blackberry, Morello cherry, bruised strawberry, dried roses, tar, leather, potting soil, and subtle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. The finish is long and savory. This is in a lovely spot. Drink now through 2027. — 17 hours ago
