A disappointing Cabernet Sauvignon from online wine company WINC. Blackberry, green pepper & notes of black pepper on the nose followed by a dark fruit jam bomb on the pallate. The wines cloying sweetness overpowered any possible nuance, and left me unimpressed. Even so this is likely to be a crowd pleaser. Luckily the wine's sweetness made it an okay pairing with Mexican spiced steak with cilantro sauce! ($16) [4/2/20]
