A very interesting aroma. A little woodsy smell to it, similar to bark. Quite tart, with a nice initial taste but not fruity. Not a lot of depth, pairs nicely with umami.

More body and depth than most pinot noir. Rich cherry notes with well-balanced minerality and some herbal hints. A delicate, smooth oak finish. Tasted like a 5 year old wine, not 2 years.

Second time I'm having this wine in 2 months. First time I found a lot of wood. 2018 is zero wood. Super fruity (strawberries and raspberry). Less alcohol and some spices in the back of the tongue. Very alcoholic in the smell. Pretty good.
