Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Really nice bottle. Started lean and closed, blossomed steadily in the glass. Fleshy and sweet after 45 mins - red currant, leather, iron. Probably peaking now.

It seemed to be leftbank cabernet driven. Good.

1983 // maybe a little overshadowed by 1982, but don't let it be forgotten! tannins are nice and soft / fruit still present/ drinking beautifully
