Medium garnet color with a small ruby core. Aromas of red fruit, rose petals, leather and wet soil. Fruit forward flavors of red cherry/raspberry, pomegranate and cranberry along with a touch of Asian spices. Long and somewhat earthy finish. Soft tannins and firm structure. Nice balance of elegance and tension. Pleasant surprise.
