Blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of black cherry/raspberry, charcoal and barnyard funk. Palate is black fruit driven (plums/prunes) with notes of charred meat, black tea and dried herbs. Not very well balanced as the alcohol dominates the acidity and the tannins are a bit harsh. Meh.
