A very nice lighter-styled Nebbiolo dominant blend from the Novarese. Nose has crisp, macerated cherry and loads of freshly-cracked stone, along with a nice woodsy barrel cellar note. Zesty and direct in the mouth, it’s still got a little youthful angularity and tannin to resolve, and features crisp acids as well. Good with food now, better in 2.
