Wow, a beautifully aging wine, nose clearly showed age with some tobacco, dried fruits, and a hint of a lizard’s cherry! Nice lighter style of Nebbiolo from alto Piemonte. Light red florals on the expressive nose. Lighter red herby fruit on the palate. Good acid and medium minus tannins. Good wine with cheeses and various cured meats for an appetizer course. — 5 months ago

Spicy dried red fruits with a touch of tar underneath, I detect that this 2003 is a touch more structured and tannic than the great 2000 I had a few days ago, long finish, great acid, still quite fresh (plus 12.5% ABV), excellent!! — 3 months ago
