Huge bouquet of pear and apple. Palate of pear followed by a long rippled finish of lemon, melon, and butter. Delicious.

Pineapple and tropical fruits on the nose. Lettuce, lemon, pomegranate and lots of grapefruit. Slight grapefruity bitter ending, More acidic than sweet. 7.4/10

This 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is pale straw in color, clear, and crisp. It possesses a trifecta of qualities – herbal, herbaceous, and citrusy – accompanied by tropical nuance. I’m particularly fond of the tangy grapefruit and lime coupled with melon and passionfruit. This wine is very young, very green, with regard to herbaceousness and fruit, and I mean that in a good way. By the way, Villa Maria, you had me at zesty acidity. I could drink this all day. In fact, I may just do that.
