Nice vibes on the label. Old Spanish style buildings. Color is lovely rusty red. Hint of orange. Aroma is warm and big strange. Marmalade made from apples and blood orange. Maybe a hint of herbal insect repellent in a good way. Flavors are also off-beat. Earthy and tart. Wild thimble-berry and orange peel candy. Savory as well. Apple sausage and beet soups? Pork chops and apple sauce? This is unique and interesting Pinot. Not sure how to describe it, but it’s fun.
