Mostly Tempranillo with 10% mixed Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo blended in. Surprisingly dark garnet/ruby color considering the wine’s age. Aromas of dark berry/currant fruit with noticeable oak. The pallet also features dark berry fruit along with notes of balsamic vinegar, black cherry, cloves and raisins. Quite ripe and flavorful. Soft tannins and very well balanced. The extra bottle age has really tempered and smoothed out this wine. Outstanding QPR!

Fantastic accompaniment to nice meal - stands in quite well for an Italian red for a lasagna bolognese and cheese plate meal. Light on the palette, but with mature flavor notes in the middle and well as the finish. Good glass!
