Les Vieilles Vignes Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay

Fresh and mineral Chardonnay. Very elegant. Typical burgundy: tropical fruits, peach, citrus, blossom, white flowers, limestone, high acidity, long finish.

My last Burgundy was after a comedy show, this Burgundy is before a comedy show. This wine is filled with citrus and tropical fruits including my favorite Star Fruit! An almond finish is getting us ready for nuttiness of Cheech and Chong.

Great with Rex's seafood.

I continue to be impressed with the wines from Girardin. Restraint highlights the terroir.

A little expensive for my cheap taste but good. Acidic
