Viñedos Do Gabian
Xanledo Ribeiro Caiño Brancellao
big soft and forward. not my style but a gorgeously velvet wine.

Jul 4th, 2018Composed of traditional red Galician grapes, 60% Caíño Longo and 40% Brancellao that undergo whole cluster fermentation in used French oak barrels. Extremely fresh on the nose, like a cold breeze, with a melange of tart red berries, charcoal with torrefact soil notes, intense florality, iron, crushed granite, and a slight herbaceous pepperiness. A refreshing midbodied wine that is cool to the touch in the mouth, tart red fruit flavors intermixing seamlessly with intense saline granitic notes that culminate in a mouth puckering piquant herbaceous note.
