Vino Lauria
Giardinello Grillo
Golden yellow color. Citrus nose. Gots some zing to the finish. Love the complexity of Italian whites!

I was impressed by the complexity of the "simple" wine.

2013 vintage. I've been eyeing this wine for weeks at Vintage Wine + Market, where I work. Finally decided to buy a bottle. Medium to full bodied white. White floral and stone fruit aromas with damp pavement, like just after a rainfall. Lots of pineapple and tropical flavors. Medium acidity and astringency on the mid palate. A bit of toasted oily nuts and saltiness on the finish. This wine craves food, and I do not have any at the moment but it makes me want a bowl of pasta carbonara with chicken, or something equally creamy and salty.
