Plain label. Not indicative of a ‘fine’ wine. Bottle is Syrah-esque though. Lovely dark color. Blackish purple. Smells like earth, mineral oils, smoky plums and sage. Flavors are complex. Licorice, black fruits, olives, mocha, mint and sagebrush. I think it’s actually got plenty of the famous garrigue that I’ve heard so much about. This is a lovely Syrah and Grenache blend with class and character.
