Lots of plums and blackberries, heavy on the oak and tannins, very dry and long finish. For a $13 bottle of CA Malbec, pretty good. Nice to sip on its own without a food pairing.... But I would save my money and get a bottle of Milbrandt Malbec from WA ($55) to have a really good American Malbec experience.
