This needs air big time as the nose starts off maybe 10% too herbal for me. But it also has nutmeg, voluminous spice, mid season cherry fruit and intense minerality. Really clear and vivid aromas. Wow what a palate. Exquisite balance and freshness and so much sweet and tart fruit. Unreal inner mouth aromas. Wow that sweetness is sick. Brilliant velvety and sweet tannins. This is brilliant! That herbal note is gone after 5 minutes and now this is a Mugneret-Gibourg clone but nervier. The density and concentration and the inner mouth florals (violets) are insane. This is brilliant. 9.6 now but can go higher. An hour in this is a 9.7 nose. Dizzying spice. Luscious cherry fruit. Amazing perfume. Just insane. Palate is so good. High honed but sweet like mid season perfectly ripe cherries. What a finish. Just a knockout.

Nose: hand crushed wild blackberries. So fresh and intense. Sexy licorice. As this opens it just smells like money. So dense. So intense. Vosne romanee like. Daaaaaamn. Psychotic.
Palate: so direct. Perfect wild blackberry licorice. Intense juice. Deeeeelish. Elegant spice.
A fucking crazy wine. Up with the greats of burgundy but it’s own style. Singular. Magical. I’m in love.
