Nose has some sweet wood, mint, wild berries and wild black cherry and loads of violets. Huge minerals and earthy underbrush. Gorgeous aromas that need an hour for the wood to integrate more. Tree bark. Wood shavings and a hint of bitter citrus rind round out the aromas. Palate is just awesome. So supple and silky. Amazing balance and purity. Super fresh and dense. What a wine. This is so seamless and elegant. Black and red cherries abound. So sweet and so concentrated. Just spectacular.
Sweetens up more with air and gets more energetic and dynamic. Amazing freshness. So elegant. Leaves you thinking. 9.6 to 9.7. Just stunning. Beyond stunning. I need to email Christoph!

Young but stunning. Nose is slightly woody (still!) with unreal deep black cherry fruit and mega violets. Glorious spice and minerals. Charcoal, char, and also some cocoa. The wood is sweet and complementary. But man it takes years to shed. Palate has much less if any wood and lovely sweetness, freshness and also almost a softened. Explosive fruit, our toy and density, but elegant and serene. So long and delicate but really needs 5 years.
