Perfect with the crispy duck belly at Sripraphai as well as the drunken noodles and duck in green curry. Perfect all on its own as well.

Probably slightly past its prime - the acid has faded a bit. Still a nice wine. Floral and somewhat sweet smelling on the nose. Quite a bit of an amber color. Pretty deep. Nice.

I think this is last bottle of a few of the 2002 that we found somewhere. Drinking very nicely. Bit of gun flint on the nose, quite rich, tense acid, sense of some white fruited sweetness even though this is drive, long finish.

Quite amber in the glass. Probably better a couple years ago but still a very fun wine. Real weight and palate intensity. Mouth coating. Acid has fallen off slightly, but still a nice long finish.

Really a fascinating wine. Medium amber in the glass. Quite “big”, even at “only” 13% abv. Rich smelling with apricot and honey. Completely dry, but with a slight impression of sweetness which is probably just the overall richness / unctuousness. Bittersweet finish - not in a bad way at all. Plenty of acid still to keep it together. Long finish. Quite nice.
