Nose is charred oak. Spices and dark cherries. Some tea as well. Some nice earth. Needs 15 mins for wood to integrate. Palate is fresh and nimble with a slight hint of bitter. Hope it goes away as it clips the finish. Weird snowing.

Aug 1st, 2019What is this? A Gevrey-Chambertin in Phalz, crazy? Dark cherries, light stemmy notes on nose and palate, spicy minerals, wow! Needs at least a few hours of decanting and it's totally alive, very clean finish, great acidity. I should have bought more...
