Aug 15th, 2015Primarily lemon/citrus on the nose, with passion fruit and other, pronounced fruit aromas, along with rosemary, jasmine and honeysuckle notes. Tons of minerality, but more oyster shell than diesel. Same on the palate, dry but not bone dry, with med+ acidity, 12% abv, long finish. Paired perfectly with a spicy summer meal, but also on its own, after dinner, while pondering the solstice. A delight!
