I’m not a big Pinot girl but this is pretty balanced and very drinkable. I think it also helps that I’m drinking this in the vicinity of the Willamette and I feel cool getting to drink a pre Jacksonified WillaKenzie. Earthy and a little savory, good red fruit. A lovely amount of age on it. Bright acidity, soft tannins that still hold up like a warm embrace from a plush but virile old person.

A better vintage, lots of dark fruit blackberries, good spice…. Have a few more bottle drinking them now!
