Vineyard sits on Willakenzie soils in the heart of the Yamhill Carlton AVA. Ruby red color with aromas of red and black fruits and spice, aged for 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry with tobacco, herbs and earthy tones. Full-bodied, fine tannins, balanced, medium finish ending with big earthy spice notes. Nice now! Purchased during 2017 visit to the winery. Vineyard is in Ribbon Ridge AVA with Willakenzie soils. Black cherry, raspberry and blueberry fruit, with orange zest, cinnamon spice, black pepper and violet notes. Blue fruit and spice driven. Almost has a touch of effervescence. Don’t sit on this one! Big Oregon Pinot. Dusty, earthy, baking spices , cinnamon , coriander. Fantastic backbone of acid, cherries, cranberry. What’s not to like, super juicy and delicious offering. Very long finish. 14.3% — 7 months ago
