A beautifully funky and mineral-laden wine, smelling like a dank cave filled with hay, black currants, and maybe a couple of horses. Delivers a decidedly gritty, limestone-rich palate with blood orange, watermelon candy, and unripe strawberry fruit. An extraordinary find for under $20 Winery Direct at Total Wine. Great character.

Nice tart red cherry and strawberry a little herb. Very good acidity and fruit with low tannin.
